Researchers at the Kellogg Eye Center are innovating in the area of Teleophthalmology (eHealth), working to develop new technologies and methods to diagnose and treat both posterior and anterior segment diseases. Kellogg ophthalmologists are leveraging tools such as telemedicine and home/mobile device diagnostics to enable efficient and effective models of care delivery for conditions including corneal diseases, eyelid tumors and inflammation, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, retinopathy of prematurity, and acute vision loss.
