AGING
Blindness and vision impairment affect 1 in 11 Americans age 65 and older. Due to aging of the population, the number of older adults impacted by visual disability is expected to continue to increase through at least 2050. Researchers at Kellogg are working to understand the impact of vision impairment on the aging process in order to provide evidence-based solutions to improve wellbeing, quality of life, and participation among older adults with vision problems.
